As a Knowledge Management Specialist at the UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti, Camille provides support and guidance on research management, governance and uptake, evidence synthesis and research capacity building. This includes the provision of technical support to ensure the highest quality of research is produced by the organization and that institutional incentives are in place to reward good research. This role also involves the development of guidance and mechanisms to make lessons learnt from previous research easy to find and share across the organization. Camille holds a professional doctorate in public health from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a master’s degree in international development and humanitarian crises. Her doctoral thesis examined how strategies and mechanisms can be implemented to build learning organizations in the international not-for-profit sector. Camille has been working in emergency, recovery and development settings sector for over 10 years, both in the headquarters and field offices of international NGOs and UN agencies such as Oxfam, The Fred Hollows Foundation and UNESCO. She has experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation, innovative and human-centered design, gender programming, and programme management and coordination.
