Camila Perera Aladro
Researcher (Children and Digital Technology)
Camila is a mixed methods researcher working on Disrupting Harm research investigating online child sexual exploitation and abuse. Before joining UNICEF, she worked at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies researching the use of mental health interventions in humanitarian settings. Camila has experience and training in a wide range of methodological skills, including qualitative and quantitative analyses and systematic reviews. Her main research interests include adverse childhood experiences and their impact on mental health. She holds a PhD in Psychology (Trinity College Dublin), a MSc in Public Health (University of Copenhagen) and a BA in Development Studies (Dalhousie University).
