In 2000 in Somalia, a baby, held by a sling on his mother's back, looks behind him, amidst a crowd of other children and women waiting to be attended to outside the UNICEF-assisted maternal and child health clinic in the village of Rabdure. To assist families during the current drought, malnourished children receive a monthly ration of 10 kg of Unimix, a high-protein feeding supplement for malnourished children, provided by UNICEF.
