Matej Damborsky
Consultant (Former title)
Matej Damborsky is a quantitative researcher and consultant with the UNICEF Office of Research (Innocenti) where he works on the Data Must Speak (DMS) research Positive Deviance research. Matej's background is in research and consultancy, particularly focusing on school and student performance data and policy. He's worked hands-in-hands with Ministries of Education as well as leading international organizations, including but not limited to UNICEF, UNESCO, the World Bank, and the Commonwealth Secretariat on projects pertaining to quantitative research in education, data analysis, and policy development. Matej holds a MSci in International Relations (with extensive social science statistics focus) from the University of Nottingham, a M.Phil in management from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, and an M.Sc. in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford. He has previously worked for McKinsey & Co as well as at the European Parliament. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
