Arsène joined the UNICEF Office of Research - Innocenti in May 2021 and is outposted in Bamako, Mali to support the implementation of the Data Must Speak (DMS) Positive Deviance research. Prior to his current role, he worked with the UNICEF Nigeria Country Office and supported the improvement of Nigeria’s Education Management Information System (EMIS) for UNICEF-supported States. He participated in the strengthening of the UNICEF Education section’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plan by setting-up a real-time monitoring system. He also helped with data compiling, donor reporting as well as coordinated several research pieces. Prior to joining UNICEF, Arsène worked as a consultant for UNESCO in several West and East African countries to help strengthen their EMIS systems.
