Youngkwang Jeon
Internship (Former title)
Youngkwang joined UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti in May 2021. He is working to support the READ Team with the ‘Early Childhood Education’ research project. Prior to joining the Office of Research, Youngkwang worked as a research assistant in various academic and governmental organizations, including Economic Development Administration in the City of New Haven and Connecticut State Department of Education. Recently, at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, he contributed to a systematic research articulating quantitative measurements and outputs relevant to WHO's Nurturing Care Framework. As a recipient of grant awards from Harvard Center for International Development and Harvard Center for African Studies, he studied inequalities confronted by adolescent mothers and mothers in polygynous households, and their young children in sub-Saharan African countries. Youngkwang holds a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School and recently completed his M.Ed. in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
