Vera Bersudskaya
Social and Economic Policy Researcher (Former title)
Vera joined the UNICEF Office of Research in January 2021 where she co-leads mixed-methods impact evaluations of integrated cash transfer and social protection programs in Francophone countries. Previously, she conducted research on a broad range of topics, including digital innovation for the SDGs, financial inclusion policy, impact investing, gender equality, education, and post-conflict reconstruction. She has worked across East and West Africa, Asia and the US for various clients, including UNCDF, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GIZ, Alliance for Financial Inclusion, Cartier Women’s Initiative, and the U.S. Department of Education. Vera holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley.
