Joaquin Cárceles
Education Researcher (Digital Learning)
Joaquín is a full-time education researcher with the UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti, where he focuses on embedding mixed-methods implementation research into digital learning programmes. Before joining UNICEF, he worked as a policy and research consultant within the Future of Education and Skills 2030 team at the OECD. Joaquín also has extensive experience in quantitative development research, and has worked in different impact evaluations in Rwanda, Ethiopia, India and Nicaragua with Laterite and the Center for Evaluation and Development. He holds a master’s degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics from Pompeu Fabra University.
