Savannah Smith is currently supporting the UNICEF Office of Research — Innocenti through a six-month internship, working on the Teachers for All (T4A) project to expand the evidence base on teacher deployment in Africa. Prior to joining the team, Savannah worked on early childhood education and instructed English as a Second Language. She is passionate about using rigorous impact evaluations to improve the quality and efficiency of development work in Africa. Savannah in the process of finalizing a Master’s degree in international development at Sciences Po, Paris, focusing on economics and African development. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University - Commerce, where she specialized in economics and Spanish.
