Erin K. Fletcher

Dr. Erin K. Fletcher is an independent researcher and consultant for evaluation and research on topics such as gender and livelihoods in low- and middle-income countries. She completed her PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011 and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University in 2015 currently advises and conducts custom research and evaluation projects for international NGOs, governments, and small organizations on issues of violence against women and children, labor, economic empowerment, livelihoods, agriculture, gender equality, health, and more. Recent projects include work for UNFPA and USAID, as well as collaborations with the Government of Tanzania and Vanuatu's Ministry of Health. She has published extensively in scholarly outlets including BMJ Global Health, World Development, Journal of Development Studies, and Oxford Development Studies. She also sits on the advisory board of Al Mokha, a public benefit coffee startup.
