Alice Vernat-Davies is currently supporting the UNICEF Office of Research — Innocenti through a six-month internship, working with the communications team to help them disseminate research on digital channels and through events. She has recently completed her Master’s degree in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex, in which she dedicated most of her academic work on the growing threat of climate change, and how it’s exacerbating global injustices and inequality. Prior to joining UNICEF, Alice worked with various international NGOs, both in the UK and in Myanmar, where she worked in communications and provided research support on energy access challenges, gender inequality, and natural resource governance.
