Victor Cebotari

Social and Economic Policy Researcher

Victor has more than fifteen years of experience in applied research in the fields of social protection, (multidimensional) poverty, public policy, migration, education, and child wellbeing. He coordinated and implemented a broad range of projects for national and international stakeholders in different geographical areas, most notable in Eastern European, Central Asian, and African contexts. Victor is a qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods researcher, with experience in developing new methodological tools, data collection (with a preference for longitudinal designs), policy engagement, and strategic partnerships. At UNICEF Innocenti, Victor supports the work on child sensitive and shock responsive social protection. Victor holds a PhD in social protection from Maastricht University, and a MSc in social policy analysis from KU Leuven.
