Dr Flavia Galvani is a Departmental Lecturer in Public Policy at the at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Flavia’s research and advisory centres on social protection, in particular in the development of gender responsive and age sensitive social protection systems. A particular focus of her work has been the development of the evidence base on social pensions, working with governments and international organisations in countries in East and Southern Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America looking at the feasibility, design, and impact of such policies.
