Risako Ninomiya


Risako is an intern at UNICEF Innocenti – Global Office of Research and Foresight, working on the Women in Learning Leadership (WiLL) Research. Prior to joining UNICEF, Risako worked for three years with Lean In Network, a grassroots organization on a mission to advance gender equity in workplaces, as a Japan Network Lead and Diversity & Inclusion Consultant. She then worked at SKY Labo and led education programs to ignite girls' curiosity and interest in STEM. She also has experience in conducting research on gender equity initiatives and women's leadership in higher education, workplaces, and startup ecosystems. She completed her BA in International Liberal Studies at Waseda University in Japan and is currently on her way to earning a MA in International Comparative Education at Stanford University.
