Thomas Godfrey-Faussett
Education Researcher (Inclusive Education)
Thomas is a physics teacher turned education researcher, with specific research interests in educational assessment and educational exclusion. He is currently working part-time on the Learning is For Everyone (LiFE) project. Alongside his work with UNICEF, Thomas is a doctoral teaching fellow at the University of Oxford, where he teaches on the master’s in educational assessment, alongside studying towards his DPhil (PhD) which explores educational exclusion in Zimbabwe. Prior to his work with UNICEF, Thomas has worked in a range of roles in the broader education environment, in schools, universities, teacher-training and in the EdTech sector. He completed an MSc in Comparative and International Education in 2021 at the University of Oxford. Thomas has worked in London (UK), in Lusaka (Zambia), and most recently in Harare (Zimbabwe).
