Carlos Bueno
Education Researcher (Foundational Learning)
Carlos is an implementation research consultant at the Data Must Speak (DMS) project. Prior to joining UNICEF Innocenti, he worked at UNESCO-IBE as a Programme Assistant supporting in-country curriculum reform processes at the Capacity Development team. He also worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) intern at Education Cannot Wait (ECW) by contributing to the development of their Annual Results Report (2021) and as an education policy researcher at the Bofill Foundation, where he investigated Early School Leaving (ESL) dynamics in Catalonia (Spain). Carlos holds a MS in School Psychology at Miami University (Ohio) and an Erasmus Mundus MA in Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED Programme). He is interested in topics related with educational planning, equity in education and comparative and international education.
