Prior to joining UNICEF, Beatrice gained experience as a research assistant at Trinity College Dublin, where she contributed to the Family Intervention for Empowerment Through Reading and Education (FIERCE) project, which focuses on Syrian refugee families in Jordan. Her professional experience and interests cover themes and topics related to child development, the promotion of youth well-being, and the inclusion of minority groups through evidence-based psychological interventions. Recently, she completed a field experience with the PASSI project in Greece, where she learned and provided psychological support sessions using movement and art to enhance the well-being of refugees and operators in that context. Beatrice holds a Master's degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology, as well as a BA in Psychological Sciences from the University of Padova. Throughout her academic journey, she participated in two exchange programs at the University of Galway and Utrecht University. During her internship at UNICEF, Beatrice aims to further explore the concept of inclusivity and research strategies that drive tangible improvements in children's lives.
