Mawugnon Fidele Eric Sessou

Social and Economic Policy Researcher

Eric holds a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of Kiel (Germany). He worked as Research Assistant at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and as a research analyst at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) where he was mainly involved in the Impact Evaluation and Process Evaluation of a National Cash Transfer Programme in Mali (Program Filet Sociaux “Jigisemejiri”) as well as a National Conditional Cash Transfer Programme in Mali and Burkina Faso (SNACK Project). He joined the Social and Economic Policy unit at UNICEF Innocenti in March 2023, working on impact evaluations of cash transfer programmes in Mali and Burkina-Faso. Before joining Innocenti, Eric worked as Impact Evaluation Officer at Global Migration Data Analysis Center (GMDAC) under IOM/UN Migration where he was involved in the Impact Evaluation of the Migrant as Messenger Phase 2 (MAM2) Project in four (04) West African countries.
