Determinants, social norms, and violence

Part of a programme of research on determinants, this review carried out by the University of Zurich aims to situate social norms perspectives in relation to the major strands of behaviour change work in development and public health, identifying points of contact, divergences and innovative thinking. Key implications for methodology are identified. The project will contribute to understanding how to identify and target social norms, complementing work taking place supported by UNICEF at the University of San Diego.
