The project aims to clarify gaps in the understanding of critical structural and social determinants of child well-being and how these can be modified through policy action. An expert consultation was held in June 2012 resulting in an agreed framework. Follow-up aimed at operationalizing this framework in a selection of countries is planned for 2013.

LATEST PUBLICATIONS

This paper describes the outcomes of an expert consultation on the Structural Determinants of Child Wellbeing. The participants discussed the underlying causes of child well-being and aimed to develop an initial framework for considering the impact of structural factors on children’s lives.
