Learn about the General Comments by the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
General comments provide an authoritative interpretation on thematic issues contained in the articles and provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the Committee on the Rights of the Child, based on their experience in analyzing and reviewing State parties reports. Since 2001, the General comments provide a significant contribution to the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and guidance to States parties in fulfilling their reporting obligations.
