Note:
States Parties are required to make the provisions and principles of the CRC widely known to adults and children. In order to foster, monitor and enforce the effective implementation by States of the CRC, it is important that adults and children be aware of the rights accorded to the child. The content of human rights treaties is usually not widely known. Human rights bodies have therefore continually stressed the need for States to publicize such treaties and to translate them into the various national languages.
